We are proud to have been associated with several prestigious hotel projects over the past year.

These range from completely new build to substantial refurbs and extensions.

With the latest new build hotel project we have completed, our designers provided a system foundation suitable for both timber and steel frame  superstructures.

Approximately, half the building was constructed adopting a timber frame design and the remaining was constructed adopting a steel frame.

Our work integrated seamlessly with both situations within the overall build.

Again, speed was of the essence with this type of project and we can confirm having laid a 350mm thick concrete slab exceeding 1,000M² plan area in a single day.

Clearly this released the entire building footprint to follow on trades in much quicker time than would have occurred using traditional foundation build methods.

With the refurb project we are planning to replace the entire ground floor slab and piles and install a new basement with contiguous piled walls, capping beam plus new basement floor with piles complete.
